I was reading Walden, by Henry David Thoreau, when I came across a section that stated “beware of enterprises that require new clothes.” This to me was an epic concept as I interpreted it as revealing truth through the exposure of superficiality. Unfortunately, the enterprise that I work for does have a dress code and further appreciates a well-groomed individual. So, with my paycheck in mind, I decided to maintain the dress code, however, I thought I would totally grow out all of the hair on my face in a completely un-kept manner which would serve as close to showing up to my enterprise in an old set of clothes as possible.

How do I feel about my beard? Great.
