I grew my beard because I always wanted a beard. I couldn't grow it before 'cause of my job and my ex disliked me with it. So now I let it grow because I can.

How do I feel about my beard? I feel more confident in myself. I don't pay attention anymore to others' opinions. I think letting grow my beard changed my mind.
