I grew my beard because shaving is unnatural and it wastes time and energy. A man who shaves his entire life will have spent over a year standing in front of a mirror scraping his face, a ridiculous waste of time. Shaving (razor) is also surely bad for the skin, and besides, I don't care how i look usually, there are far more important things to spend time on.

How do I feel about my beard? It's excellent, cult, and adds character. Who cares that it's not fully grown? A lot of young men are missing out on something they'll never get back by shaving throughout youth, the scruffy, unfinished look which is a style of its own, an acquired taste.

It's messy, horrible (to some eyes), and people are scared of me more, which is interesting. Everything is in the eye of the beholder.
