Bearded since: 2007. I am an occasional or seasonal beard grower.

I grew my beard because I could. I have always thought facial hair looked awesome and really defined the character of a man. My father has a beard, so I guess I got the genes from him. Also, I hate shaving because I have sensitive skin. So even if I shave now it is with a guardless beard trimmer.

How do I feel about my beard? Pretty confident. I go through stages where I do different styles or like my face clean shaven better, but I always go back to the full beard. The only thing about my beard that I wish I could change is the fact that I have gray hair on only one cheek, not to mention I'm only twenty-one years old. So I feel like it makes me look like a grandpa. But I will probably get over that eventually too.
