Why did I grow my beard? I always wanted to grow a beard. Beards were forbidden in the US Army, in which I served over twenty years. Beards were also forbidden in the security company I joined after I retired from the military. I am now fully retired and on the day that began, I shaved no more.

How do I feel about my beard? I like it very much. Importantly, my wife is okay with it and I've received compliments, many of which stated that I very much look like the actor in the beer commercial, "The most interesting man in the world".
