The first time I actually started was in high school. My best friend decided one day to stop shaving, so I made it into a contest to see who could grow it longer and faster. Since then, I've kept it, and will continue to keep it. The two pictures I am submitting were from right before my sixteenth birthday. I would submit one from now but I am waiting for it to get longer.

How do I feel about my beard? I love my beard and I will not go clean shaven again. I feel a lot more self-confident. I've tried going back to a clean shave, but I couldn't take it. The minute it was gone, I wanted it back. I am committed to it.
