Bearded since: 2010. I am an experimental beard grower.

I first started growing because I saw a friend with his and thought it would be fun to see how long I could grow mine. I was only planning to keep it for a month or two, but another friend challenged me to grow it for a year. So I took that challenge, starting my beard growth from February 25, 2010.

How do I feel about my beard? At first it was itchy and annoying. But after the first month, I got used to it. I also was feeling self-conscious, worrying what everyone else thought about it... Well, they still hate it, but I've "grown" to love it.
