I grew my beard this time because, in my line of work (Repo man for the power company), it helps a lot with situations with people wanting to challenge me or fight. They think twice when they see the beard. LOL.
How do I feel about my beard? I feel my beard adds a dimension to my character. It commands respect with no effort and, as I say, "A guy with a beard doesn't [mess] around". But if you have a beard, the best look to it is a serious facial expression. In short, I enjoy it.
