Why did I grow my beard? I lived in a very rough city and growing a beard seemed like the right thing to do. A punk who may want trouble is going to think twice about mouthing off to a 6'2", 250-pound man with a six-month untrimmed beard.

How do I feel about my beard? The last time i shaved was for a job interview. That was six months ago and I haven't touched a razor since. I'm in Afghanistan and this chin sweater demands respect.
