Gortex Bearded since: 2002. I am a dedicated, permanent beard grower. Comments: I grew a goatee for a play back in 2002 and it progressed from there. How do I feel about my beard? I feel it could be a bit fuller in the cheek area and I am having a bit of a dry skin issue at my chin, under my bottom lip, and my "Murphy area" (under my nose). I have found that virgin coconut oil helps with the dry skin if applied two to three times a week and it softens the beard nicely -- enough to allow my newborn girl to grasp, but not a firm GI-JOE Kung-Fu grip.
