I grew my beard because I finally could. My school allowed most guys to get away with those ratty mustaches and some others to grow out unkempt beards on the basis of "bad acne". Yeah, right. And here I was, able to grow a nice full goatee and keep it trimmed and in order.

How do I feel about my beard? Let me put it this way: I like it. My girlfriend likes it. My family mixes me up with my dad without it. And it is one of my best features.
