After almost six years in the Navy, I had grown tired of shaving every day. Besides, I wanted to know what I looked like with a beard.

How do I feel about my beard? I loved it. I miss it. I hope that it will be even better by the time I retire from the Navy. I only shaved it because I went into the reserves.
