My dad has always had a beard. The first time I saw him clean shaven, I was in my twenties. So naturally I wanted to grow a beard as soon as possible. I tried many times in my teens to grow one, but I just had the steady neck beard, sans any real goatee and mustache...the sideburns were always okay, though. However at 19, my face exploded. It's only thickened since then.
