I grew a beard because I've always wanted to. But I have never been able to grow anything not completely laughable until last fall when I started growing it. I'm happy with my beard, though I would like it to be thicker and longer. That will have to come with time. Nothing beats the feeling of the wind blowing through your beard! I hope to continue to grow my beard but may have to lose it for work/family (I hope not). If I do, I'll grow it back soon after. The girlfriend loves it.
