I've always wanted to grow a beard, but spent eight years in the military. Now I am free to have one and I want to let it grow!

How do I feel about my beard? I was a little worried that it wasn't thick enough or that it might look really amateur-ish. Now that I've finally just let it grow, I am really happy with it and hope to keep letting it flourish and blossom into a beautiful thing.
