When I was in high school, the dress code required that I be clean shaven. So when I graduated, I decided that until I was again required to be clean shaven, I would grow a beard.

I love it. Simple maintainence, like trimming it back once or twice a year and shampooing when I shower, combined with the uniqueness of having a long full beard makes it one of the most distinguishing features of me.
