I got the idea after not shaving for about a week. I had been out camping with some friends and we couldn't shave. When we got back, I had some decent stubble and thought "what the heck" and let it grow out from there.

How do I feel about my beard? I love it. It helps me stand out in the crowd and it makes me feel more unique (given our society "outlook" on beards seems to be negative).
