I grew my beard because I love them on men and had wanted one for myself for years, but couldn't grow one that looked full enough. When I turned 21, I finally let it grow fully. It was almost there. I shaved it and then regrew it a year later. Had one ever since. I do art of bearded men. I am a trained painter. I am a pogonophile and love hair growth all over the male body.

How do I feel about my beard? I like it and get lots of compliments that it looks good on me. I wish it were more full and had less bald spots. I would like it to be darker, too. I am trying to grow it a bit longer now, but the hair is so straight that it just starts to stick out everywhere and looks bad. Guys that have a bit of a curl seem to be able to let therr beards grow much longer and it looks good. My beard isn't full enough to grow a really long beard. It would look really bad. That's fine, though, because I like shorter beards to medium length.
