I grew my beard because I wanted to explore all parts of my existence. It's exciting to think that you can look like a completely different person with a beard. It also makes you seem older and wiser.

How do I feel about my beard? We have been through some hard times. My beard likes to catch things, like water and lint. I also miss feeling my pillow at night. But overall I appreciate it for helping me boost my self-confidence. I also credit my beard with keeping my face warm when it's cold outside.
