Tom Bearded since: 2006. I am a dedicated, permanent beard grower. Comments: Why did I grow my beard? I work in construction so I can grow a beard all year. So I do. It's nice to have in the winter to keep my face warmer. I grow it longer in the winter and trim it down just a little in the summer. How do I feel about my beard? I like it. I wish it were bigger.
