Bearded since: February 2009. I am an experimental beard grower.

I'm going to turn thirty this year and realized that I've never grown a full beard. I've always had sideburns or goatees. I'm kind of interested to see how it turns out.

How do I feel about my beard? I like it so far. It's filling in nicely and relatively evenly. I have this crazy idea of letting it grow out for two years and enter it in a few beard contests, just to see what happens. But if that doesn't pan out, at least I'll have a big, long beard, which is just about the greatest thing a man can do.
