I've grown beards or goatees in various styles off and on over the course of the last 20 years as the moods strike me, mainly because I like them and because I can!

Right now I'm growing out a full beard (2 weeks old) and will eventually blend in the goatee I've had since February. Its a bit ragged right now but I like it so far and know from past experience that I'll enjoy it even more once its done growing out to the length I have in mind!
