Why did I grow my beard? At the time of hire, I was the youngest head strength and conditioning coach at the NCAA level in the country. I had a number of athletes I coached that were older than I was. Growing a beard took away the baby face, which was something I needed to establish myself as a respected figure among my athletes.

How do I feel about my beard? I love my beard. It is a part of who I am and fits my personality. I can't imagine not having a beard.
