I have experimented with full beards while having a goatee all the time. I currently have a full beard and intend to keep it. I grew the full beard to compensate for my balding head. (hehehe) Also, my wife loves it. It makes me feel good and unique.

I really like it. I wish it would fill in a little better in spots and I wish it didn't have to be turning grey in spots, but other than that I like it a lot.
