I grew my beard because all great artists have a beard. Wikipedia tells us, "The ancient Greeks regarded the beard as a badge or sign of virility." After I read this, I couldn't help but feel I needed to grow one to become a real man. Socrates was a great man and philosopher and so am I.

How do I feel about my beard? I don't really grow it to the max because I know it would bother me too much. So I leave it kind of scruffy. It's still uncomfortable, but I do it for the sake of being a great artist.
