Why did I grow my beard? My beard grew me.

How do I feel about my beard? I have always (for twenty years off and on) had a goatee and a four-guard trim Irish Leprechaun chops. Last trim was October 21, 2012. I decided to let it grow and after the funny awkward stage of curling it has turned into a masterpiece! Strong and growing!
