Why did I grow my beard? Medically retired (against my will, for having a disability) after serving as a police officer for twenty-five years. Not working at all now.

How do I feel about my beard? I love it. It reminds me that I answer to no one now and can dress the way I want and have as much facial hair as care to grow. I have been free since August 1 of 2011. It grows really fast and makes me feel good inside! I may never cut it again.
