North American Beard and Moustache Championship

Bearded competitors are sought for the 2008 North American Beard and Moustache Championship. The competition takes place July 5, 2008 in beautiful, scenic Bremerton, Washington USA. The registration fee for competitors is $25.00 until June 5, when it increases to $35.00. So don’t delay. Register today! Please encourage as many bearded men as possible to register and make this event a rousing success. Proceeds from the event will benefit local mens’ homeless shelters. Illinois beard contest

I have received word that, in the Land of Lincoln, there will be a beard contest on September 9, 2007 at 2:30 PM at the Ullin, Illinois fire station. The beard contest is part of the Cache River Days celebration in honor of the town’s 150th anniversary. It is believed to be the first beard contest in Ullin since 1957. If you are in the area, be sure to check it out!

Shepherd Sesquicentennial Beard Contest

Michigan’s Village of Shepherd celebrates its 150th anniversary this month. Part of the celebration is a beard contest. Word is that there are about twenty competitors. Judging will take place on the 18th of August and the bearded competitors will march in the parade on the 19th. The contest has its own blog: Shepherd Sesquicentennial Beard Contest. Check it out!
